Welcome to ERA Ecology, where passion meets expertise in the realm of environmental stewardship. Founded by dedicated sisters, Emma and Annie, ERA Ecology is driven by a shared love for nature and a commitment to preserving our planet for future generations.

Meet Emma:

Armed with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and an MSc in Biological Recording, Emma brings a wealth of academic knowledge and practical experience to the table. Her journey in environmental conservation spans across various prestigious organizations such as the National Parks and Wildlife Service, RSPB, BTO, Fingal Coco, Devon Wildlife Trust, and the Glens of Antrim project. With a focus on ecological surveying and data collection, Emma is a true advocate for evidence-based conservation practices. Her expertise extends to organizing training days for both adults and children, where she shares her passion for biodiversity promotion and biological recording, empowering others to become stewards of their environment.

Meet Annie:

Complementing Emma's background, Annie holds a BSc (Hons) in Ecology and an MSc in Sustainability and Ecology. With a fervent passion for ornithology, Annie's journey in environmental advocacy has been equally remarkable. Like Emma, Annie has lent her expertise to organizations such as the National Parks and Wildlife Service, RSPB, Source to Tap, Birdwatch Ireland, and various community groups. Her dedication lies in engaging community groups in citizen science projects, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility towards biodiversity conservation. Annie's vision extends beyond mere data collection; she believes in fostering a deep connection between communities and their natural surroundings, igniting a spark of curiosity and appreciation for the world around us
